SoFi Stadium Parking: What It Costs, Which Zone to Pick, and How to Get Out
Upcoming events at SoFi Stadium Parking: What It Costs, Which Zone to Pick, and How to Get Out
Parking at SoFi Stadium runs $60 to $100 on site for an NFL game and $25 to $55 for most concerts. Every pass is prepaid, digital and locked to one color zone, and there is no cash gate. The biggest mistake here is choosing a zone by walking distance. You cannot drive between zones, so the zone you buy decides how long you sit in the car afterwards.
How SoFi Stadium parking actually works
You buy a pass in advance for one color zone, and you enter through that zone's gate only.
The zones cover the whole Hollywood Park district, and each color holds several lettered lots. Your pass buys entry to the zone, not a named space.
Staff scan a barcode on your phone, and there is no paper backup. Share a pass and only the first scan gets in.
Crossing between zones is banned, so the wrong gate means a loop back out through traffic. For Rams games, parking sells out season long, and no pass means you are turned away.
SoFi Stadium parking zones explained
There are nine zones, more than most guides list, and two are not sold to the public.
| Zone | Lots | Enter from | Closest entries | Walk | Typical NFL price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hyundai Green | A, B | Prairie Ave, 800 S Prairie | 5, 6 | 5 to 8 min | 80 to 100 |
| Hyundai Brown | C, D | Pincay Dr, 3919 Pincay | 1 to 5, 12 | 5 to 10 min | 80 to 100 |
| Hyundai Orange | E, F, G, H | Pincay Dr, 3695 Pincay | 10, 11, 12 | 8 to 12 min | 70 to 90 |
| Hyundai Blue | N | Prairie Ave, 1100 S Prairie | 7, 8 | 10 to 15 min | 70 to 90 |
| Hyundai Purple | K, L | Century Blvd, 3801 W Century | 9 | 10 to 15 min | 60 to 80 |
| Hyundai Pink | I, P, Q | Century Blvd at Yukon Ave | South side | 12 to 18 min | About 90, tailgate |
| Yellow | Not published | Pincay Dr | North side | 15 to 20 min | 40 to 60 |
| Red | Oversized, non NFL | Century Blvd at Yukon | n/a | n/a | Oversized only |
| Platinum | Internal | Prairie Ave | n/a | n/a | Not sold publicly |
The entry column comes from the stadium's accessible parking page, the only place it publishes which zone serves which gate. Match it to the entry number on your ticket.
SoFi publishes no rate card and sets fees per event, so treat those prices as recent form. Pink is the only tailgate zone, and Yellow is cheapest and furthest.
What SoFi Stadium parking costs
Budget $60 to $100 for a Rams or Chargers game and $25 to $55 for a concert, with big tours reaching $125.
Season ticket members have paid around $60 a game, which is why single game resale sits higher. Pink Zone tailgate passes run about $90.
Advance prices beat gate prices, so buying early saves real money. Tours are the exception, where parking is free.
How to buy a SoFi Stadium parking pass
There are two official routes, and the event decides which one you use.
Concerts and non NFL events sell through ParkWhiz, and your pass arrives from help@parkwhiz.com. NFL parking runs through your Rams or Chargers account manager on Ticketmaster, and since Rams parking is sold out season long, resale is the practical route.
Resale on SeatGeek, StubHub and Vivid Seats is valid, sometimes under $40. Pink Zone passes cannot be transferred or resold, so buy those direct.
Save the pass to your phone wallet before you leave. Screenshots get rejected at the gate.
Cheap parking near SoFi Stadium
The cheapest legal spot within walking distance is the Best Bargain Market lot at Eucalyptus and Arbor Vitae, at $25 with a free shuttle.
It takes no reservations and fills first come, first served, so it is a gamble rather than a plan.
The Kia Forum is the better pick. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk, lots open 3 hours before kickoff, and it sells through JustPark. Walk up has hit $80, so book ahead.
Free parking near SoFi Stadium
There is none on an event day, and the streets are a trap rather than a loophole.
Inglewood runs a citywide residential permit program, not a few blocks near the stadium. Without a permit you get two hours between 8am and 5pm, then a ticket or a tow.
Enforcement runs seven days a week, and on public holidays whenever SoFi, the Kia Forum or Intuit Dome has an event. Nearby retail lots are private property and tow aggressively.
Off site parking, shuttles and park and ride
Inglewood Park and Go is the main option, with over 4,000 spaces across seven garages and a shuttle every 15 minutes.
Garages run $38 to $50 in Inglewood and $30 to $45 in El Segundo and Playa Vista. Here is the part the program buries: parking and shuttle are separate purchases, and the shuttle is $8 per person prepaid. Four people in one car works out at $70 to $82, which is no bargain.
Metro is cheapest by a distance. Take the C or K Line to the LAX/Metro Transit Center, then the free SoFi Stadium Shuttle from Bus Bay 8. The old Hawthorne/Lennox route is discontinued, and plenty of guides still send you there.
Parking at Hollywood Park and how it relates to the stadium
Hollywood Park is not a separate parking option, it is the same system with shops in it.
The 300 acre district holds the stadium, YouTube Theater, Cosm, the casino, restaurants and homes, and the zones are spread across all of it. That is why some passes leave you a long way from the bowl.
On a normal day the retail structures are free for an hour, then $5 per half hour. On event days the district folds into the stadium operation, so those rates are not a back door.
Parking for a SoFi Stadium tour
Tour parking is free, which makes it the only time SoFi parking is easy.
Tours meet at Entry 7 on the southwest side, and parking is usually Lot N in the Blue Zone, reached from the Arbor Vitae St entrance off Prairie Ave. Lot assignments change, so follow the signage.
SoFi Stadium parking map
The layout is a ring, and the road you enter from decides where you end up.
Prairie Ave runs down the west side and feeds Green (Lots A and B) and Blue (Lot N). Pincay Drive runs along the north and feeds Brown (C and D), Orange (E to H) and Yellow. Century Boulevard runs along the south and feeds Purple (K and L), then Pink (I, P and Q) at Yukon Ave.
The official maps live on the stadium's parking page, one image per color. Download yours before you drive, and search "SoFi Stadium Parking" plus your color rather than the stadium address.
Accessible parking
Accessible stalls exist in every zone, first come first served, and you need a valid placard and a paid parking pass.
The placard alone gets you nothing. Buy a zone pass, tell the attendant you need close parking, and arrive when gates open, because these stalls go early.
Courtesy mobility carts run in the Purple and Pink Zones, and questions go to parking@hollywoodparkca.com.
Tailgating rules
Tailgating is allowed in the Pink Zone only, for selected events, and enforced everywhere else.
Your space is a 9ft by 18ft stall plus a 9ft by 6ft strip behind your car. You cannot buy a second space for more room, or save a spot for someone arriving later.
Propane and natural gas grills only. No charcoal, no wood, no fryers, no glass, no stakes in the ground. There are no in and out privileges, and tailgating stops at kickoff.
What time to arrive
For NFL games, lots open 4 hours before kickoff and the Pink Zone 5 hours before, with entry gates 2 to 3 hours out.
For concerts, lots open 3 to 4 hours before and gates 1 to 2 hours before, though this moves by event, so trust your pass over any guide including this one.
Chargers fans should note that a pass only guarantees a space in your zone until 1 hour before kickoff, after which you can be sent to a different zone.
Getting out afterwards, and how long it really takes
Budget 45 to 90 minutes to clear the property after a sold out event, and know that your exit was decided when you bought the pass.
Because you cannot cross zones, you leave by the road you came in on. Green and Blue empty west onto Prairie. Brown, Orange and Yellow empty north onto Pincay. Purple and Pink empty south onto Century.
So the question is not which zone is closest, it is which road points at your motorway. Coming from the South Bay, a south zone off Century beats a closer north zone.
Lots close an hour after the event and get swept, so you cannot wait it out. Rideshare is slowest, with 20 to 30 minute waits on Kareem Court.
What regulars say
The people who do this often stopped trying to park close years ago.
Park at the Kia Forum. It is 5 to 10 minutes on foot, usually cheaper than the closest zones, and it exits onto Manchester and Prairie rather than into the stadium queue. Concertgoers report being out within five minutes of getting in the car.
Pick your zone by your drive home. Most people optimize for the walk in and then spend an hour paying for it. Century for the south and east, Prairie for the west and the 405, Pincay for the north.
Yellow is underrated if you have legs. It is the cheapest zone and the walk is 15 to 20 minutes, roughly what you will spend queuing out of a premium one.
Do not buy a Pink Zone pass on resale. They cannot be transferred, so anything listed is a mistake or a scam.
Check your entry number first. Entries 1 to 5 point at Brown, 7 and 8 at Blue, 9 at Purple, 10 to 12 at Orange. The wrong color means a lap of a 300 acre site on foot.
