Hard Rock Stadium Parking: Colors, Passes and Costs Explained

Parking here is prepaid only, so buy before you drive. The colors decide your gate and your walk: Orange is the inner ring nearest the stadium, Yellow the big outer ring to the south and east, Gray sits furthest out, and Black is premium. The only fixed price the stadium publishes is $10 for park and ride.

As of August 2026, all on-site Dolphins season parking is sold out. Park and ride passes are still on sale.

How the Hard Rock Stadium parking colors work

Your color is a permission slip: it sets your gate, your lot and your walk.

Orange is the one to pay up for if you want a short walk. Yellow is the tailgating heartland and where most buyers land, so photograph your row number before you walk off. Black holders get a private Black Card Lane off the Exit 2X ramp to Gate 1.

One quirk: the stadium calls Gray "Lots 30 to 33" in its driving directions and "Lot 40" in its accessibility notes. Treat it as both.

How to buy a Hard Rock Stadium parking pass

Buy through Ticketmaster or the official team site, and buy early.

Dolphins single game parking sells at am.ticketmaster.com/dolphins/DolphinsIndividualParking, with Lot 70 and Lot 95 passes at am.ticketmaster.com/dolphins/buy/MDHRSExpress. Hurricanes parking for 2026 is limited to Hurricane Club members and season ticket holders, so there is no public single game option. Miami Open parking appears on Ticketmaster nearer the tournament, and Grand Prix parking goes through the F1 Miami Account Manager.

On-site Grand Prix lots post you a physical pass. Everything else is digital.

What Hard Rock Stadium parking costs

Only two prices are officially fixed, and everything else moves.

Lot 70 and Lot 95 cost $10 per vehicle, shuttle included, one pass per car regardless of passengers. Miami Open single day Yellow is $35 prepaid, $40 with SunPass and $45 on the day by card. That $10 gap is the clearest drive-up penalty here.

Every Dolphins color is priced dynamically on Ticketmaster and climbs as the date nears. Cash is not accepted anywhere, including at parking gates.

Parking near Hard Rock Stadium if the official lots are sold out

Your fallback is the $10 park and ride, which is also the only day-of purchase option.

Lot 70 sits opposite the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel at 5700 S SR-7, Fort Lauderdale. Lot 95 is the Golden Glades Parking Garage, 16000 NW 7th Ave. The GEICO HRS Express shuttle runs to the stadium's northwest corner and back until 75 minutes after the event.

There is no overflow lot. Turn up without a pass and you get turned away.

Free parking near Hard Rock Stadium

There is no free parking at Hard Rock Stadium, and the surrounding streets are not a workaround.

Residential blocks switch to resident-only on event days and towing is enforced.

The one genuinely free route is to get dropped at Lot 70 or Lot 95 and board the shuttle. The ride costs nothing. You only pay if you park a car.

The lots form a ring around the stadium, and the official maps sit at hardrockstadium.com/parking.

Picture the stadium in the middle. Hard against the building is the inner ring, Black and Orange, fed from Turnpike Exit 2X on the east, with Maroon on the north. The outer ring along NW 199th Street is Yellow, Lots 13 to 18. West and north along NW 27th Avenue and 207th Street sit the Gray lots, 30 to 33, plus Lot 40 beside Walmart. Lot 44, the rideshare lot, is southwest at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex.

Accessible parking

For Dolphins and Hurricanes games you need a pre-purchased inner lot "ADA Reserved" pass to park in an inner lot accessible space.

For every other event, inner lot accessible parking is first come, first served. Enter at Gate 1A or Gate 4 to check availability.

Outer accessible spaces sit in Yellow (Lots 14, 15/16 and 18) and Gray (Lot 40). If you hold a Yellow or Gray pass, use an accessible space in your own color.

No mobility shuttles run inside the inner lot, so if you need one, park outer. Pickup points are Lots 14, 16, 18 and 40. Call Guest Experience on (305) 943-8000.

Tailgating and RV parking

Tailgating is allowed in the surface lots, inside a marked 8ft by 10ft box directly behind your own vehicle.

The rule that catches people is directed parking. An Orange pass at a Dolphins game lets you choose your spot for the first hour only. Yellow is directed from the moment lots open. For Hurricanes games and all other events, every lot is directed from opening, so if you want to tailgate together, arrive together.

Gas and charcoal grills are fine. Open fires, kegs, drinking games and professional DJ setups are not. Tents must be weighted, never staked into asphalt. No box trucks, and nothing towed in.

What time the lots open and when to arrive

Dolphins parking gates open four hours before kickoff, Hurricanes gates five hours before.

Stadium gates open two hours before kickoff for the Dolphins and 90 minutes before for the Hurricanes. Lots 70 and 95 open three hours before, with the shuttle starting 30 minutes later.

Concert times vary by event. All lots close 1.5 hours after the event ends.

Parking for Dolphins games, Hurricanes games, concerts and the Miami Grand Prix

The colors do not mean the same thing at every event, which is the biggest source of confusion here.

Dolphins use Orange, Yellow, Gray, Maroon and Black.

Hurricanes use Green, Orange, Maroon, Black and Yellow. There is no Gray, and Gate 40, the Walmart lot that is Gray on a Dolphins Sunday, is folded into Yellow.

The Miami Open flips who can buy what. Yellow is the general public lot, while Orange and Black are held back for full tournament, luxury and suite packages.

The Miami Grand Prix drops colors and sells by lot number, Lot 1 through Lot 95. Walks run from 0.1 to 1.8 miles, on-site passes arrive by post, and race weekend brings road closures the other events do not.

Concerts use one general events map with no color breakdown.

Getting out afterwards

Exiting is slow, and the stadium publishes a separate egress map for every color.

Those maps are the most useful thing on the official site and almost nobody uses them. Find your color on the parking page and screenshot the "Leaving Hard Rock Stadium" map before you set off.

Shuttles run until 75 minutes after the event and lots close at 90 minutes. Free roadside assistance for lockouts, jump starts and flat tires is available for about an hour afterwards by texting (305) 943-8000.

Rideshare pickup is Lot 44, a 25 minute walk. Uber Shuttle is exit only, boarding near the Lot 18 pedestrian bridge for fixed fare routes to Brickell and Miami Beach. Taxis queue by Gate 4 on 199th Street.
